A resident, a visitor, a business or organization can be a historic part of Waseca’s downtown through this personal and permanent memorial.
The results are two-fold: a remembrance…and a legacy of love that acts to support the quality of life we hope to sustain in our community.
Proceeds from this fundraiser will live on through the permanent endowment fund of the Waseca Area Foundation which will grant earnings to community projects and organizations.
Through the purchase of a brick the Waseca Area Foundation welcomes you to be a part of reaching our current short term Goal of increasing our endowment funds by $200,000 by the end of 2007. This will increase our granting power by $10,000.
Currently the Waseca Area Foundation Family of Funds (27 strong and growing) has nearly $1.46 Million dollars in funds invested which are providing grants back to the community forever. Over the past 16 years the Waseca Area Foundation Family of Funds has granted over $500,000 to benefit worthy projects and organizations in our Waseca area. Projects have focused on education; health and human services; arts and culture; recreation and public facilities; and city beautification.
In the year 2010, we envision $2 Million dollars in the Family of Funds which will allow annual grants of over $100,000 per year to local projects and organizations. And the exciting thing is, it will go on forever……….
